Artist Statement

As an applied mathematician and Buddhist monk, I've created an artwork, "Blockchain Jewelry Concept", a new form of expression that encapsulates invaluable moments of life eternally. In the midst of the real and virtual worlds intersecting, this artwork utilizes blockchain technology to visualize once-in-a-lifetime moments and preserve them as immutable records.

Life is linked by moments of happiness and sorrow. For instance, moments of birth when life comes into being, and moments of marriage when two individuals bond, are filled with joy. On the other hand, moments of losing a loved one, such as the death of my father that I personally experienced, are accompanied by profound sadness. Each of these moments, embodied as shapes and colors in individual spheres, demonstrate the finiteness of each fleeting moment amidst the continuous flow of time.

Insights gained from Buddhist philosophy combined with mathematical thought have led to this unprecedented endeavor. Not only my personal experiences but also your moments, and those of others, take form and are shared through this artwork, elevating our individual experiences into a universal one.

Each life is composed of special moments. How do your unique moments, memories, and emotions connect with this jewelry? Through this artwork, capturing and visualizing time from a new perspective, I hope that your experiences and memories are embodied in a new form.

This is a proposition of a new form of art that respects life's moments and grows with the times. I would like to explore and share encounters with the new era we're facing, and the crystallization of time, together with all of you.
